not heard of most of the cds you've listed (got a preorder in for the faceless tho), but its payday on fri there any you would really recommend?
saw devastation at wacken in july. ican kinda of remember them, buts a bit hazy.
i'm going to Damnation fest on sat, get to see carcass, napalm death, the bezerker, sigh, benediction and a cpll of other decent bands, then on sunday i'm going to manchester to see opeth and the Ocean. i'm not too big an opeth fan, a cpl friends are into them, but i fucking love the ocean. be my second time seeing them this year.

the new Beneath the Masacre cd is fucking epic. not too far removed from the ep and debut, they've just upped the ante on every level. i was sure Misery Index or Nachtmystium was gonna be my cd of the year, but this right in the mix too.
the new Born From Pain album is pretty smart aswell if your into them, more of what theyve done on the last cpl of cds, but they're good at it so who cares.
At least you sent her off right then. That of course is still very hard to swallow, whether they go slowly through illness or suddenly like yours (and mine -- car accident), it's never easy.
And you always miss them. Kind of hangs a cloud over the Christmas season for me, recently just being in the stores with all the decorations has been tough... and this will be 10 yrs now. Rough stuff, bro.
Sorry to hear about your mom. My mom and I are really close so I can understand the hurt. Situations like that are never easy. gotta take your time to cope man.
Hong Kong was bussiness. I was doing a halloween show there, and it was a blast. Spent 2 and a half months living there.
