LukeSkywalker

Ability to destroy a planet is next to nothing in comparison to the power of the force. Hell bell, don't this statement carry anything. My take only way they come into contact is when Romulan arrive to turn the earth into a black hole. Then Dumbledore contact the Luke Skywalker who had the ability to resist the blackhole (first time I got to know about that was in Dark Nest Trilogy) & he save the day . Jedis & Wizard turn into the friends & hunt down all the black wizards & finish this matter on earth for all time. Only way they are going to fight is when they wizards back stabbed them. Now all can decide the answer by taking into the account that Naga Shadow can decimate the whole solar system. ( Now fellows don't take it seriously).

Now in serious mode, Star wars are written in very serious tone & they conveys us very important values which all of must uphold. Harry Potter character are not that serious & are written for people of age below 28 years. Now I am not saying that it must not be read for people below of age 28. I have seen people reading the Percy Jackson. It just mean that star wars is more universal in his appeal. Now these are opinion & like all opinions bound to have a fallacy. You are requested to accept it if you agree & reject it if you disagree.

To KW: Pan's Labyrinth ftw

To CV: Geek card hehe he hehe he

To LK: 1 meeellion dollars (pinky to mouth, hairless cat, grey suit)

To CK: Kids should be seen and not heard so go running up and down halls somewhere

To LB: I'm gonna knock you out. Momma said knock you out.

oh yeah, I I still wont read those books. I've tried, and it's just not my thing. To be honest I hardly eer read fantasy books. I like history and biographies.

HAha, I don't pay attention to the acting much. Just the sets and FX :P

IF GDT did HP I bet the rating would have been higher. He's a gritty dark director. Think about what Pan's Labarynth woulda been without him. That could have easily been some cheesy kid's movie.

to KW: The first 2 HP movies are the only ones that have stuck to the books. From 3 on out they changed so many things it wasn't funny.

to CK: you gotta read the other books. Like I just told KW, the books are really much better than those ham-fisted movies. They're nice to see, but, the books are "intensity-in-10-cities !"

Tough call on this battle.
Episodes 1,2 & 3 are enough to make me throw out my geek card! But, the potter movies are still half-accurate portrayals.......
Shit !

Interesting side note: Guillermo Del Toro was offered the 3rd Potter movie(Prisonerof Azkaban) to direct; and he almost accepted, but, he turned it down so he could accept the Hellboy movies !
Think about how the HP movies would have been with GDT in the director's chair.

Are you kidding??? the movies are terrible, some of the worst acting Ive ever seen. Especially the main characters, they are all terrible and they get worse with every movie. The books are much better even though Ive only read 2 1/2 of them.

Yea George should have stopped with the original Trilogy. The Potter movies are very well put together, lol just like the special effects are great.

I remember when I thought george lucas was cool.

Although before he made the movies he had said before that he didn't want to continue the franchise, and he hates actors. If he had it his way the entire film would be CGI just so his anti social ass didn't have to deal with people.

Harry Potter is something I could never get into. I have friends my age (26) who love that shit. "trust me it translates to a mature mind." BULLSHIT! Well, atleaste not my mind. Lately I've been reading alot of Clive Barker, and Adam Parfrey.

The Harry Potter movies are descent though. They're really well put together. Some of the best visualization of a novel ever done. I hardly pay attention to the plot of Dialogue.
