Martin Vs. Scorsese
Me and a friend got in to a big debate about which was better: The Departed or Goodfellas. Well, I let the internet decide!
Goodfellas
Murderers often come with smiles -- and problems of their own. Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro chew plenty of scenery, but the real focus of director Martin Scorsese's mob opus is Ray Liotta as real-world Irish-Italian mobster Henry Hill, a gangster who dreamed of making it to the top but landed in the witness protection program instead. Nominated for six Oscars (including Best Picture), the film's only win was Pesci's Best Supporting Actor statue.

DAMN!
This was a tough one. If I had answered a year ago, The Departed would have been my choice. Both are great pictures.
Very good..I see that you voted for The Departed..I myself think that Joe Pesci gave Goodfellas the edge to beat any movie and to stand side by side with even the Godfather... Now, go home and get your fucking shine box! :D
Not sure if someone already posted a battle like this. If so, remove it. But please, don't attack me! Thank you.
