neither, really. Somewhere, I have a picture of me standing on the edge of a precipice over the Grand Canyon. That, and looking through the glass floor in the CN tower were the most I've realized how high I was. Shark attacks are so rare, I don't consider them a threat.
That said, you will never ever see me ride anything at a carnival. Next time you think about going on one, think about this and decide if its a good idea:
Carnivals travel around in trucks. The rides are hastily put together on arrival The site may or may not be level, or safe, or stable. Carnies are mostly paid in drugs. Safety inspectors are often paid off or ignored.
So, what you're looking at is going 100 feet up in a piece of machinery that has been bumping around in a truck, put up by drug addicts on unstable ground, and possibly not inspected properly.
