Why be a burden and what the heck will you get out of it anyway? Yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck. If your brain is half dead, there is no coming back. Of course, I am not a doctor and I'm sure someone on here is going to argue that somehow.
I feel terribly sorry for anyone who goes through this or who has to see it. I've seen it and it is not pretty. I'm just glad it was not anyone in my family.
