We already have a man made virus called "AIDS". It breaks down your system... it is TOO specific. Over time it will be our end. (That a nuclear bomb or ...god?)
I'd go with virus cuz then i would at least have a 1/5 chance of living, lol.
In reality we have an EMP bomb that takes out all electricity in a small country, oh the size of Syria if we ever used it. Yes, they have tried it on huge transformers too. It's not really a bomb, just a huge pulse sent out that burns out all circuits all the way down several stories underground and all buildings above ground.
People don't realize there are such things, but there is. They're called 'Scalar Weapons,' and people just don't believe they exist.
Why do you think Baghdad and surrounding areas didn't have electricity for a few years? It wasn't just from the bombing either. Think about it. They're not going to tell you what actually transpired either. In Afghanistan they won't tell you they dropped an M.O.A.B. either, but they did. It left a plume like it was a smaller nuke, and it was on the news too.
