Ofcourse, you are not alone in this race for space..Space exploration is paramount..There is nothing more important then finding a new, more advanced race or a habitable planet, out there...If you have any doubt of what I am saying now, just think of what land your house lays on, @greedshallperish?! In year 1400, your ancestors didnt have a clue it actually existed, the piece of land that you call your home sweet home now..

I hear you GSP2012...
Would rather see our money spent on schools, rebuilding Homes/etc....

BUT, I also think that space exploration is awesome.
I personally think that NASA should finish the space station, and then worry about building a space ship that CAN take off in the rain.
(AM I supposed to feel good about space travel/exploration, when we build a space ship that can't even take off in the rain ?)
I think that we could benefit from exploring...
We could learn so much, and the best part: WE WOULD NOT BE SPENDING BILLIONS KILLING HUMANS EVERY DAY !!!

why is space exploration essential? its expensive as hell, and for what? to find out that mars has ice? how will it benefit us in the future? so we find a resource, drain it and move on to the next planet? fuck that pull funding and chill on earth. astrology will tell us all we need to know. back in the day its all they had, and it worked like a motherfucker to keep track of cycles, time periods, events, ect. and its also A LOT CHEAPER!!!! 1 billion for rocket ships? or 1 billion for struggling schools?

Space exploration is essential. We need to stop spending money on other shit. We seriously need to rework what the hell we're funding. Anyway I think it's something like one month of the time in the war in Iraq as much money is spent as almost the entire nasa Phoenix mars lander project.
