wondering where you gre up?
I know what you mean..I could never go hunt on a full belly either..I don't enjoy hurting animals, but i gotta say that it would be more than a rush to hunt to get a juicy steak...some potatoes on the side, mushrooms..:D
Actually no, I hunted squirrels and fox with a .22 rifle, then when we went deer hunting, I jumped to a bow and arrow which brought down just about any size buck. Biggest deer I got was a 17 point buck. We only hunted what we needed to eat, never for sport. We fished just enough for supper down at the river or in the creek, never more than we needed to. It runs in our family.
Plus, when we trapped during the season, we trapped for the pelts. We made money plus the beaver steaks were good too. I was raised in the country, not in the city.
( No, I didn't have to walk backwards up a mountainside in 5 ft. of snow to a one room schoolhouse either!) Lmao But, I did have to walk a half mile driveway to catch a bus.
O ya, i forgat to mention we had no water and very lil food to eat, and many kids died when playing on the street by grenades and sniper fire..Other than that, it was great times :)..:( We didnt have lamps, only candles, and I used to read funny papers on a light of one candle,..That was all the home entertainment for me at night :)) It was so funny when the electricity or water would come, like 1 day in 2 to 3 months maybe, and we would go from 17th century to 20th for that one day :D
In fact, I enjoyed it as much as I could..

Tito, when I was a kid growing up, all my family had for heat were wood stoves to keep warm, and to cook on, and oil lamps to see for the first 7 years of my life. Ha ha. I thought that was how everyone was, until we saw our neighbors' house. The only TV we saw was at school in class. That's why I went hunting, fishing, and trapping in season.
I miss the Retro games!!!!
Hahah, great pic!... that is what we used to play..altho I am not so old of a fellow, 25 :P, when I was a kid we had no electricity in my City..so we really only had option of street play :)
