I agree Samus Aran is the best female lead ever. Why I'm so mad that they're fucking her up. It's like taking Ripley from Alien, putting her in a bikini, and having her do sexually suggestive kung fu.

Nah the toughest Character in any game ever definitely has to be the DOOM Guy. So I'll vote for the dudes. Lets see either of these two beat a lava puking hell's imp to a pile of bloody hamburger with nothing but a pair of spiked brass knuckles.
Female leads in games aren't empowering to women either. It's women with guns porn. Looks at what they did to Samus. that was a respectable female hero equal to the dudes, and now to make her more mainstream they gave her bigger tits, took away the armor, and made her into another stereotypical tit and ass jiggle physics 3d model.
I don't give a shit what I play as long as it's fun.
