yeah, true setting off catapults and all that stuff. Remember the teenage mutant ninja turtles arcade game? Alien vs. predator was asome to. I think it used the TMNT engine they were so similar. The Simpsons arcade was pretty awsome to. I love 3D platform fighters. MAME is awsome.
The over head stuff was great to like Heavy Barrel and my personal favorite Smash TV!
yeah. prince of persia was also awesome... i always played with it!:D
FF has better graphics and maybe it is more playable, but GA has something that makes it more appealing, the setting, epic music, the possibility of launching the magic and more...
Altered Beast was the one that frequently ate my allowance from that genre.
Final fight so kicks golden axe's ass. The characters still live on in fighting games today. Guy was in SNK 2006 and every street fighter vs. SNK. GA had cool riding mounts and stuff, but Fight had the moves and kick ass music and sound affects.
I think both were on the sga genesis at one time as for console. I do know for a fact final fight had a long run on SNES. No idea about GA.
What console are they from?
