i will pwn you all. Dragonforce...hard.
i've heard of all the bands i mentioned, but as i'm sure you can tell i'm not a big fan of Lacuna Coil or any metal band for that matter. so i didn't bother learning the correct way to spell their name.
anyway, i have no problem w/ ppl who listen to disturbed, slipknot, lacuna coil and the like. but it's not my thing. i was hoping for a much wider spectrum of music to be covered by GH.

yeah, a lot of people limit themselves to rock only, but you must have never heard of one of them you listed up there; it's Lacuna Coil, not lucinia
rock band is alright, but I don't like the fact that everybody wants to play drums and guitar and nobody wants to sing or be the bassist... plus, I played it once and, as far as I know, you can't pass the game by playing an instrument instead of vocals???
i'll paraphrase from OXM review, guitar hero 3 has shift from pretending you rock to pretending you suck, it's too hard for casual gamers, ill stick with real guitar

I only chose Rock Band because it said it is about worshiping the Devil, other wise I pick Guitar Hero III.
RB has a much better track list(ie. no disturbed, slipknot, lucinia coil, slayer, iron maiden etc). RB has songs i acually enjoy listening too while playing. the drums are lots of fun and i like the RB guitar more than the GH3 guitar.
gh3.is all sorts of cool.
