Well we will just have to see what Valve has up their sleeve for HL3 thats if it doesnt take a million years like HL2, not to mention we are still waiting for HL2: Ep3 lol
Sadly I actually havnt had a chance to check out UT3, and I doubt my Gforce Ti4200 could handle it, I couldnt even start CoD4 due to a lack of alpha blending compatability.
Speaking of wich, I really wish they would have release CoD3 for PC, it doesnt make any sense for a game that started on PC and to release CoD2 and 4 for PC but not 3!
actually, i do have quite a few friends. i just thought you were being quite the asshole in your first post. that is all i was doing. looking back on it i shouldn't have assumed but oh well (i am talking about way later on after a few updates but it can't be that different since it has to be one of the core things designed from the very beginning). besides, imo, the Unreal Engine is easier to mod for than the Source engine (until the id Tech 5 engine comes out then we can make a better comparison). Valve just needs to do better with their engine. come out with a new one already! your current strategy isn't working!
Well first off why are you bein so hostile about a game? And secondly I'm talkin about when the game was still pretty new, so who knows they may have address peoples concerns with the hitboxes, I'll try to get some screenshots to show you what I'm talking about. And yes I do know what I'm talking about I have made mods with friends that we never released to the public and I was the lead modle/texture designer. But to carry on and start making assumtions about what I think about completely different game engines? Now your just bein a prick, why do you care so much about being better or cooler than someone else on the internet? I take it you dont have many friends.
actually, i have in game. with some console commands i was able to turn on the hitboxes and they were no bigger than your head. however, the corners of the boxes were not so close to the head so i could see that happening but you are OVEREXAGGERATING. i would very much like to know your knowledge of the Source engine since it seems apparent you have no idea what you're talking about. prove me wrong bitch. at least i know how the fuck it works and what goes into making the fucking game. i'm also learning how to make fucking game engines. i bet you're one of the assholes that think the Source engine is somehow better than Unreal Engine 3 when it isn't.

LOL get a god damn model viewer and look for yourself the hitboxes are around 2x the size you ignorent twat...not to mention try for yourself in the game with a friend you can get headshots when your aiming slightly off the side of their face which should not happen in any game...you do your damn research before you open your mouth.
actually, the hitboxes in Source are just as big as the player model's head. do your fucking research. Source has improved on every aspect that 1.6 has. the only thing that sucks about it now (but the server can turn it off if it wants to) is the dynamic pricing system.
1.6 is great stuff...source just not for game play man..)
make an actual argument then instead of just "it owns" and can i get your steam ID so i can cross refrence your cal-i exp? I to played cal-i from season 3-6
CS:S has many flaws to it, and it is simply just for noobs. What is wrong with 1.6?
no all i played was 1.6, i was cal-i so stfu source owns 1.6 and thats all there is to say
the reason you like source is the way to easy to get head shots because the hit boxes are 3x the size of the actuall model... and when you play 1.6 you cry cry cry cuz you cant hit a hitbox that is the actuall size of the model :D
