Sucks Or Rules

I played halo 3 until i tried COD4.....now i pretty much just play call of duty.I loved halo 2 but i think halo 3 was a huge let down compared to how i imagined it to be before it came out....I still have respect for the halo franchise because it made xbox live and multiplayer online gaming on consoles what it is today.however,Call of duty is wayyy better all around in my opinion

I prefer Halo over COD mainly because if I want to see a "realistic war", I will just turn on the news. Halo is pure fantasy and it shows that people in the world still have an imagination. I like the idea of having a shield protect you in combat rather than dying as soon as you step out of a building. Where's the fun in that? I played COD against my cousin once "Who was screen cheating" but no matter where I was at, as soon as I spawned, even it is was inside of a building, he could just shoot through the wall and kill me. Regardless if that's real, it just isn't fun. I like the idea of being able to jump higher and farther than an average person or going head to head with an alien invasion. Sure it's never gonna happen, but I think that's the best part about it. With Halo 3's forge, you can make the world however you want it to be. It requires you to have some imagination as opposed to COD, well it doesn't require you to have imagination at all. You can sit behind a building and just wait with a D. Eagle for people to walk by and I don't know how "realistic it is if you have a radar that shows where people are firing from. All over Halo is awesome and Halo reach has some awesome parts about it too (not including its armor lock because I can just sit back and wait until the person runs out of it and then kill him). COD, well...my 8 year old brother claims he's a pro at it and I've watched him play. All he does is sit back with a shotgun and waits until someone passes by. Sure the graphics are pretty cool but the game is just pathetic. Fantasy or Reality? Well I think Fantasy is much more entertaining. Like I said if I want to watch a realistic war, I will just turn on the news.

Personally I think that Halo 3 beats Call of Duty 4 hands down. Single players is a rather important aspect to both games, and I actually think that both single players are excellent. Many levels of difficulty and stages. Halo 3's single player is a bit longer than Call of Duty 4.
Now down to the more important aspect of the game; Multiplayer. Both games are most well known for it's addictive and enjoyable multiplayer, but Halo 3 wins easily for me. Call of Duty 4 just seems a lot more "noob-friendly" than Halo 3. All the first unlocked guns in the game (M16, AK-47, MP5, and Saw) are the more powerful and overpowered. I can understand that Infinity Ward is trying to make it easier for beginners to get in and play, but they took it way overboard. Killing is so easy in this game that it takes the skill right out of it. Accuracy in Halo 3 is so much more important than in COD4. You can easily spray and pray and automatically get a kill, whereas in Halo 3, you can`t really spray and get a kill. Too many ways to be a noob (Noob-Tubes, RPGs, and even the nades are overpowered). Because you die so easily, it just promotes camping among the beginners and sometimes even the experienced players. According to most people I hear, Halo 3 is A LOT less annoying and frustrating than COD4.

ok first theres the single player cod has a good campaign but its only good a few times through. while halo is the best single player you will find ive played through it lots of times. halos is full of amazing cinematic moment and great locations. while cods is the same thing over and over again. cods is very short and halos is much longer. halo actually bother with long time characters while cod has vague lifeless people that never really matter to you. halo actually has a back story while cod threw something together that cant really bring you into the game. the game play on both is excellent but halo just puts you more into the action. halo also capture the feeling of a large scale war like no other game has ever done or probably will ever do. so over all halos sp is much much better.

now the multiplayer yes on cod you can customize guns and you get xp even if you lose. but that just giv infinitly more opportunities for annoying glitches. on cod the multiplayer is very lazy. the maps are almost completly from the campaign. its like they just copied and pasted part of the sp levels. it doesnt really take away much because the gameplay is what matters but hey all the little thing help. also the millions of stupid annoying hackers. yes the absolute worst part of the game. i would almost like cods mp as much as halos if not for these idiots ruining the game for everyone else. and that ridiculous claim that cod is more realistic there is almost nothing realistic abou cod but this isnt saying its not fun. and lastly online is just and xp hoarding campfest no one cares f the game if fun (for themselves or for others). over alll halo has a better and more user friendly multiplyer. i would much rather just sit at home playing splitscreen halo with a couple of friends than play online on cod the most popular part of cod (which you are forced to do if you have more than four friends because the system link is completly broken and useless).

now the fanbases. on halo the fanbase is generally more mature and less annoying. i will admit that there are a few exceptions (very annoying ecxeptions) but not even these people are half as bad as most of the people on cod. most people online on cod just are annoyni 6 year olds or whining retards that are just mad because they suck at the easiest game in the world. and it always seems cod fans are people who tried playing halo and sucked. example i was playing halo and i met this kid on live when he lost with like 2 kills he started spewing curse words and said he would go play cod 4 and he didnt even know why he was playing halo.

i could go on even long but this is very long even as it is. so in short this is why halo is miles better than cod. even know cod is good halo is still much better.

put some thought into your posts it gets annoying seein all those useless random posts with no meaning whatsoever.

i dont understand why people think CoD is better. pros in CoD are no match for the rookies in halo
