Does the game tell a good story? Does it tell it well? I had no clue as to what the frell is happening in Halo 3. Thus it looses this comparison and any other in which we talk about storytelling.
halo 3's campaign was a major let-down for me, but the multiplayer is where it's at... bioshock had a good story and awesome gameplay, but got repetitive quick and the final boss battle was a complete joke... i waited like, 3 years for bioshock only to beat it in 2 settings and get pissed at the end (both endings are retarded)... halo 3 has multiplayer campaign, AND all the great online play from 2 in HD... HALO 3 wins

I own both of these games, and I'm not voting in this one. Bioshock is an epic single player game, with a rich story in a completely immersive world. Halo 3 is the conclusion to an epic trilogy and focuses on more than one person playing with you. Sorry guys, but I can't choose. I agree with the Gamepro editors- get both.

Brioshock is a much better game than Halo, as my personal opinion, Halo needs to end, it overrated for what it is. At least with Bioshock you have a game that lets you experience human feelings in it. To me its worth Game of the Year.
